CLEARFIELD — A lot more than 140 kindergartners have cozy feet many thanks to Santa Claus, the Davis Education Basis and a pair of sponsors.
As part of an once-a-year initiative for the duration of the getaway season, Davis Faculty District and Davis Instruction Foundation reps traveled on Monday to South Clearfield Elementary in Clearfield and Fremont Elementary in Sunset to give out new sneakers and socks to kindergartners.
All-around 110 South Clearfield kids and 33 Fremont learners been given footwear.
“What’s greater than new shoes and socks? It’s constantly remarkable when we can supply sneakers for all our kindergarten students,” South Clearfield Elementary Principal Robert Kinghorn said in a assertion. “This initiative has developed around the several years to make sure a lot more students will be receiving new sneakers.”
