MAFS: Domenica Calarco has a diva moment at Australian Fashion Week

MAFS: Domenica Calarco has a diva moment at Australian Fashion Week

No paparazzi! Married At First Sight’s Domenica Calarco has a diva moment as she refuses to have her photo taken at Australian Fashion Week

She’s no Mariah Carey, but that didn’t stop Domenica Calarco from having a diva moment as she made her debut at Australian Fashion Week in Sydney on Monday.

The Married At First Sight bride, 29, raised eyebrows when she refused to have her picture taken or do any media interviews as she arrived for the Bec + Bridge show.

While most A-listers are happy to oblige the press pack at Carriageworks, Domenica and her new manager were having none of it.

While Domenica’s coverage in the media isn’t always positive, most people would agree she has done fairly well for herself since starring on MAFS.

The attention she has received on news websites such as Daily Mail Australia has no doubt helped her become one of the country’s most in-demand influencers.

After losing her temper, the reality star’s manager was heard yelling ‘no more photos!’ while trying to shield her client from the friendly paparazzi.

When one photographer pointed out that Domenica hadn’t stopped for photos like the other celebrity arrivals, her manager barked: ‘Another guy took photos inside.’

Domenica may have wanted to keep a low profile because she was attending Bec + Bridge’s general public show, while rival MAFS bride Olivia Frazer sat front row with Sydney’s elite at the VIP showcase just minutes earlier.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal the warring brides narrowly missed each other.

Olivia was pictured leaving the VIP show with model and fashion designer Suzan Mutesi, while Domenica and her friend Ella Ding were seen lining up for the second viewing, which was open to the public.

It comes just days after Domenica said she would ‘run the other way’ if she crossed paths with Olivia at Fashion Week.

‘There’s a level of respect… The respect I will give her is by never looking at her ever again. If I see her in a room or at an event, I will walk the other way,’ she said.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Domenica and her management for comment.
