Rihanna’s incredible halftime performance was another one of her history book moments. The comeback was just as exemplary as expected, including her major Loewe x Alaïa masterpiece. We don’t know what everybody is talking about more right now: her superb outfit, her stellar 14 minute performance, or the fact she used the occasion to announce her pregnancy with baby number 2. Iconic.

Rihanna was dressed in an elaborate long red puffer coat which was thrown off to reveal a matching ‘shawl-gloves’ hybrid garment and finally a red boiler suit, left unzipped to show off Rihanna’s pregnancy reveal. On the pocket of Rihanna’s flight-inspired boiler suit, the We Found Love singer donned a trio of vintage diamond brooches, amping up the glamour of her stellar look.

The brooches were sourced from Joseph Saidian & Sons – a Persian-founded, fourth generation jewellers based in New York who have kitted Rihanna out for many of her significant first pregnancy ‘lewks’. Established in 1850, they have been a trusted source for legendary estate jewellery and objects d’art. The Saidians have been the custodians of iconic jewels such as the Ahmad Shah fancy yellow diamond and the Westminster Tiara.

Rihanna is clearly a fan, she previously wore an 118 carat aquamarine tassel pendant from the jewellers at Milan Fashion Week Spring 2022 and a vintage Kutchinsky necklace at the Offwhite show during last year’s spring Paris Fashion Week.

She also wore a Joseph Saidian piece to the launch of Fenty Beauty at Ulta in Los Angeles last March, as part of a dazzling silver two-piece that is a strong contender for the most glamorous pregnancy look ever.
